TICKET + GUIDED TOUR + WORKSHOP

Available from April 13 to May 5 (in Italian). The guided tour leads families to the discovery of the different kinds of writings used by the ancient Egyptians, focusing in particular on hieroglyphics. With the help of the Egyptologist, you can observe the ways in which Ancient Egyptians wrote on papyri, stelae and statues and learn how to recognise the most common hieroglyphic signs. Read all

Available on weekends from May 11 to June 16 (in Italian). The tour of the museum allows families to explore the collection in search of vases, bowls, plates and bottles, some of a practical form, suitable for everyday use, while others, used during ancient rituals, have curious shapes. Read all

Ricreational activity in Italian language (40 minutes) followed by a guided tour (80 minutes)  ideal for families with children between 6 and 11 years old. The recreational activity, which offers families the occasion to play the senet game, takes place in a special room of the museum, where participants sit on the floor (a special mat is provided). Each family receives their own senet game for free, complete with game board, pieces and rules! Read all
