Synopsis

The students are stimulated to think about the role of the craftsmen employed in the construction of the tombs of the pharaohs, starting with the observation of the tools found in the village of Deir el-Medina. Clue after clue, the class discovers the professional skills of an artist who lived 3,300 years ago. Each participant draws his own ostrakon made of plaster.

Thematic workshop with an Egyptologist. Each participant creates his own handcrafted object in order to apply the new skills acquired.
