Synopsis

The workshop explores the themes of funerary cults and embalming, a practice overseen by the god Anubis. To understand which organs were extracted from the body of the deceased, the practice of evisceration is explained through the use of a mannequin. A special focus is reserved to the function of the protective amulets. Each participant paints his own plaster amulet.

Thematic workshop with an Egyptologist. Each participant creates his own handcrafted object in order to apply the new skills acquired.
