Synopsis

Students discover the fascinating musical world of ancient Egypt. Millennia-old harmonies and rhythms come to life through the use of reproduced instruments: tambourines, cymbals, and crotals. Special attention is given to the goddess Hathor and her beloved sistrum, the ceremonial rattle. Each participant assembles and decorates their own sistrum, made of wood and metal parts.

Facilitation: AAC charts are available.
