Synopsis
To benefit from a useful insight into the most intriguing aspects of Egyptian culture, students can follow a lesson at their school, during which the Egyptologist develops the thematic focus agreed upon during the booking phase.
The lesson can be combined with the workshops available at the Museo Egizio. The proposal is active for Torino and its province only, but can be extended to the whole national territory (information and costs will be provided by contacting the Booking Office).

AN EXCAVATION IN THE COLLECTIONS
Guided tour on the archaeological excavations led by the Missione Archeologica Italiana in Egypt at the beginning of the twentieth century. The tour takes the students through the Material Culture Galleries introducing the working techniques and the main craft productions of the Egyptians. In this way they will discover the archaeological contexts found on the main investigatedsites, like Gebelein, Assiut and Deir el-Medina. Read all
