Synopsis
On Tuesday 27th September, to celebrate the bicentenary of the decipherment of the hieroglyphs by Jean-François Champollion, the father of Egyptology, the Museo Egizio offers a special free opening from 7 pm to 10 pm (Abbonamento Musei and Torino+Piemonte Card cards are not valid). Free Tickets can only be booked online.
Visitors will also be able to see the reconstruction and restoration of the “Turin King List”, displayed in a room equipped with multimedia tools and infographics to reveal the history and contents of the famous document.
