Synopsis

The Egyptologist welcomes the class in a gallery of the museum, where the students will have the opportunity to discover and play the senet game: sitting on the floor, they challenge each other in pairs using wooden reproductions of the “chessboard”! Next, the guided tour offers a focus on the daily life in the town of Deir el-Medina and on the funerary beliefs.
Each student receives a kit to make their own senet.

New guided tour experience that stimulate the active involvement of students. The tour with the Egyptologist is combined with an interactive and playful activity that takes place entirely in the exhibition galleries.
