The Online Meeting is a new virtual activity made available by the Museo Egizio, a digital experience focused on the students to be enjoyed in the classroom with the guidance of an Egyptologist during a live web connection with the Museum.

The activity allows to discover in detail some of the objects of the collection and to interact with an Egyptologist.

Video contributions, animations and artwork created ad hoc make the contents more engaging and effective.

The Egyptologist takes the group in the galleries of the Museo Egizio to discover the collection, stimulating the observation and comparison skills and adapting the tour to the age of the students.

Each guided tour covers a selection of museum galleries and objects, depending on the chosen theme.

Class lessons held by an Egyptologist on some of the most intriguing aspects of Egyptian culture in a session designed to prepare students for the museum visit.

The activity is available only for Torino and its province.

Wood, plaster, and metal are the materials each participant uses to create their own artifact, applying the new skills they have acquired. The workshops offer the opportunity to explore topics that spark students’ interest and enrich the history curriculum. Rates vary depending on the type of materials used.

The classrooms are equipped with an interactive whiteboard and all the materials needed to carry out the workshop.

Educational workshops can only be booked in combination with a guided tour reservation and are subject to availability.

A guided tour experience enriched with game-based and discovery activities to be carried out directly in the exhibition galleries.

The cost of the guided tour includes the radio system and the educational materials provided.

For a rich and in-depth experience, classes can choose to combine some activities, benefiting from an advantageous discount.
